Accommodation in Bangkok

almost 6 years ago about Bangkok, Thailand

My boyfriend and I are off to Bangkok in two days and haven't booked any accomadtion yet, has anyone got any tips where to stay? I don't really want to stay on kaosan road and would prefer a private room instead of dorms, and for under $40 a night. Thanks in advance guys.

Kaosan is cool and good shopping, but its so cheap and easy to get around Bangkok you don't have to stay right on Kaosan. Just make sure the taxi uses the meter. I would book a place through Agoda. almost 6 years ago

Yes! We have the place for you.It is one street over from Khao San Road..On a perfect street,,.Rambuttri Road...Go to www.RambuttriVillage .com/..We was there last year and for $20/nite,we got AC-Cable TV,Hot Water,Marble floors. It is $25/nite now,I think.....Pool on the roof...Great security.
There really is nothing on KSR,besides over priced stuff. It's crowded, all tourists come here first.
Next street over is Rambuttri Road.Near your hotel is lots of roadside eats. The bars are great.I suggest the Gecko Bar....Rambuttri.also has all of the live band bars. almost 6 years ago
