If you're one for sightseeing, don't miss the KL Tower, Petronas Twin Towers (tours are open on particular days with limited numbers, so first-in, best dressed), Jalan Petaling Street Market, Visit Sunway Lagoon for some theme park and water park fun. There are plenty of shopping malls; local favorites include Mid Valley shopping complex, the Bukit Bintang shopping strip (with Lot 10, Sungei Wang plaza, etc). If you don't mind going out of KL a little, I suggest do a day tour or stay overnight at Genting Highlands - take the tour bus. Genting Highlands is located at the top of a hill with cooler weather. It has the hotel with the most room in the world (per Guinness World Records), casino, theme park, shops, restaurants. You have the option of taking a cable car from halfway up the hill. over 9 years ago

I'd also recommend Menara Tower which is the telecommunications tower that looks down on the city. There's great street food at Jalan Alor in Bukit Bintang - area is also good for reflexology. The Bangsar area has some cool bars, cafes and restaurants. over 9 years ago

Everyone pretty much has it on one however one of the places to see is the Home of Satay, It has aa historical place, check that out and ..Jalan Alor has good food but pleaase Don't go to restaurants with Table clothes as they Tourist traps lol...you pay massive amounts ..you can get some good food from the stalls and they are far better as well about 9 years ago
