Hi! In March/April we are finally visiting Italy. We only have about 10 days so we are starting in Florence and then driving south to Nardo in the heel of the boot. After two days in Nardo we will drive to Rome to finish our trip. The trip from Nardo to Rome will include Pompeii and Vesuvius, but we are unsure about the trip to Nardo from Florence. There seem to be a smattering of little town along the coast but not a lot of information on them. I've heard the drive to Brindisi and Lecce is quite boring. I'm hoping someone can provide us with any insight into the drive or Nardo itself! Thanks!
