We visiting Lucknow to New Delhi via Agra & Jaipur, Is a week OK?
We are traveling independently from the south to New Delhi. Is it better to join an org. Tour to do the golden triangle or get to each place and grab a guide there?
Recommended tours and guides? And recommended accommodation in those places would be great?
Any highlights other than the obvious? Thanks Penny

A week is fine, If you want a brief glimpse of the cities. There is a lot to see in Delhi and Agra, in Jaipur there's a lot of shopping and Lucknow is a nice place. about 8 years ago

A week is a bit tight. In Agra if you wanna shop for marble products get into the by lanes behind the Taj, this is a place where the manufacturers sell their products and are cheaper, you gotta bargain well. For stay in Agra you can choose Taj Gateway, it's very central and you should be able to get accommodation for approx 100 dollars a night.
Jaipur is known as the pink city, good place to shop and see the architecture. Do try the local cousin food, try to spend an evening and eat at choki dhani. Must sight seeing is Hawa mahal, peacock gate, jantar mantra . .etc
Delhi is too big and has loads to explore, let me know your interest and will try to recommend things to do accordingly....
