Hey friends! So my friend and I are planning a volunteer/traveling trip this summer. Problem is, I only have 2.5 weeks! I had my heart set on Bali. I was gonna spend 2 weeks teaching English in Ubud. But now I'm faced with another option! I went to India last year for 2 months and had an AMAZING time! I miss it SO much, so I'm thinking of doing India again, AND Nepal. I've been obsessing over Bali for like a year. Should I forget it and go to India again? I love it so much, but I want a new experience, so I was thinking of doing Nepal and India, since they're near. For those who have been to all 3, what do you think? I know I could teach and help out in any of those locations.
Hi Tanya, my pick would be Nepal - I just got back from a two-week trekking trip and it is a stunning country. Especially now your volunteering skills would be put to very good use there. Plus, if you love nature, you have your pick of treks and lovely villages. over 3 years ago
Hi Tanya, I am Indonesian. As Indonesian I should say you have to do volunteer in Bali. But I think again, better you do it in Nepal. They need you more than Bali. The reason is Bali is tourist area, and lots of volunteering program here, many tourist join in for volunteering and also conservation program. I suggest you to visit another location(beautiful remote area) in Indonesia next if you have time. over 3 years agoAnswered by Fina via WorldNomads.com
