Hello. I'll be in Cabinda and Lobito. Is there any area where I should avoid walking alone in these cities?

Cabinda in particular is still high on many foreign government's "no go" lists, as are parts of the capital Luanda. It IS possible to have a crime-free visit to Angola if you're extremely careful, very cautious and a bit lucky - but this is an adventure destination, not a holiday. It's recommended that walking anywhere after dark is inadvisable.
WorldNomads.com has some safety advice here:

but make sure you check your home government's advice on Angola. What that advice says might affect your travel insurance - and this is one place you do not want to go to without insurance.
