I will be travelling alone to Southeast Asia for 2 months starting end of May. For now, this is my itinerary but I'm really not sure.

Bangkok // Sukhothai // Mae Sot // Ban Mae Sariang Noi // Chiang Khong // Ban Houayxay // Luang Prabang // Vang Vieng // Vientiane - Hanoï // Cát Bà // Hanoï // Hué // Hôi An // Nha Trang // Ðà Lạt // Hô Chi Minh Ville // Cho Dok // Hà Tiên // Cần Thơ // Hô Chi Minh Ville // Phnom Penh // Siem Reap // Phnom Penh // Sihanoukville // Trat // Ko Chang // Bangkok

How does it look? Any ideas for improvement?

Add Chiang Mai if you can, it's an amazing city and a great hub for getting to other places. If you like mountains head up further North into Chiang Rai province or Pai.
Vientiane is worth a couple of days stop if you were planning on just traveling through. Mostly though, SE Asia is really chilled and you can easily change your plans as you go - add bits on/stay longer/leave earlier (this is how I ended up in Krabi for a week rather than 2 days!!). Enjoy :) over 1 year ago
