Is it easy to take the overnight bus from Fethiye to Cappadocia, Turkey?

Here's another alternative: if you have time, consider taking a "blue cruise" along the shore from Fethiye over to Antalya. This will take about a week, but Fethiye is a great place to start one of these small cruises (which are not too expensive), and they are an amazing experience. When you end the trip you will be further east and closer to Cappadocia anyway. Of course, all of this depends on the schedule of your trip, but it's just something to consider. over 4 years ago

    Travel between Asian countries?

If you're in Southeast Asia, you can just take buses and cross the border by land. China is large and you might want to consider flying unless you're doing an extended trip. You can easily cross from China into Vietnam or Thailand (if you have the visas). You will need to fly to South Korea or Japan (unless you take a ferry). over 4 years ago

I want to visit morocco and whereabouts. Does someone has an itinerary to suggest?

I would suggest visiting some of the main cities in the central region (Marrakesh, Fes, etc), plus a few places on the coast (Essaouira, Agadir, etc) and some of the other unique towns Morocco has to offer (Chefchaouen, Ait Ben Haddou, the desert). There's a lot to see, just make sure you avoid the super-touristy stuff in the far north where the ferries from Spain dump the tourists of of the boats. A few more suggestions can be found here: http://www.budgetyourtrip.com/morocco/itineraries over 4 years ago

    Advice/Tips on traveling in India?

Prepare to be overwhelmed. Pack light and travel slow. Don't expect to be able to get around quickly unless you fly, as even the trains are slow. Negotiate for prices for everything. Don't eat dairy or you are likely to get some type of food-borne illness or stomach problems. Perhaps if you ask a more specific question, you'll get more specific answers? almost 5 years ago

Realistically, how safe is bus travel in Morocco? In particular I am going from Marrakech to Mergouza at the end of January.

I was in Morocco a few years ago for about a month, and we took the bus everywhere. It's generally very safe. Traffic can be a bit crazy, so accidents can happen but not very often. Crime is pretty low, too. CTM is sortof like the government bus. They weigh your baggage (and charge you a little for it), and give you a claim ticket. The other companies don't usually do this, but expect some hangers-around to try to "handle" your baggage and ask for a few coins in return. I remember CTM accepting reservations, and getting a ticket a few days ahead of time was sometimes necessary depending on the route. Many of the other companies leave from the main bus stations, and if you're going from major cities, you can generally just show up at the bus station and get something in the next few hours. Buses claim to run on schedules but will generally wait until they are at least mostly full to start the journey. Expect inefficiency. over 5 years ago

Will it be safe for 3 girls to go backpacking in Nepal?

The best times to go are in April or October. The winter is too cold and the summer is too wet, especially for trekking. The only real dangers are physical (such as falling off of a mountain), but stick to the trail and you'll be fine and have an amazing time. This is one of the most amazing countries I've ever visited. about 6 years ago
