Do I need malaria tablets travelling in Laos and Vietnam?

Technically yes, but it greatly depends on where and when you go (cities and dry season/winter being lowest risk). Your travel medicine doctor and the CDC website and similar websites will have the best advice. over 5 years ago

Heading to New Zealand for the first time. We'll be there for two weeks. What are the must dos?

Hilary has good advice above. For just 2 weeks I would see some volcanic activity in Rotorura and visit the glow worms caves in Waitomo as well as explore Auckland. over 5 years ago

    Where to travel/stay in Panama

Bocas del Toro is the most frequented place visited on the Caribbean side, but the beaches aren't the greatest. There are none in Bocas town, you have to either take a boat or a bus to get to them. I thought the beaches on the Pacific side in the Pearl Islands were nicer. over 5 years ago

Best place to exchange thai baht into Cambodian riel.

Easiest is just to find a cash machine and get US dollars (which the machines dispense to all international cards). Riel are only used to buy very very small items. Even locals mostly use US $. That said, if you need to get rid of your Baht, any money changer can do it. Use usual precautions. over 5 years ago

What is the best time , plus cheapest time to visit Panama

I was in Panama (Panama City, Bocas del Toro, Pearl Islands) in May/June 2013 and found it a good time to visit - not too busy, easy to get accommodations, lower prices than high seasons. Some restaurants were closed as owners took their holidays. It was pretty hot and humid, and a few days had torrential rain for an hour or so. Nothing that can't be dealt with though. I'd be happy to answer any specific questions. over 5 years ago

Is nova scotia a peaceful place to live? How friendly are the people living there?

Yes and very! Of course every individual town and citizen is different, but Nova Scotia generally is super friendly and peaceful. A very nice place to visit and live. over 5 years ago

    SiamReap and Ankor Wat

There are tons of options for budget hotels and it really depends on your definition of "budget". I quite liked the Golden Banana in Siem Reap. Bus is easy between cities. over 5 years ago
